Grocery shopping is boring — city livers don't want to spend much time on it, they want it done  immediately. More and more people trust food delivery and X5 invited us to ideate the new quick delivery service for their customers.

In a week, during design-sprint with X5 team we analysed their app and conducted research. We talked to people on cash desks, looked into their bins, generated ideas and validated hypotheses with numbers. Here's what we found:

01 People get groceries in the supermarket faster. It set out the main goal for the app — to make buying groceries online faster.

02 People tend to buy the same items over and over.

So, we came up with a strategy to help people spend less time choosing: personalization has become our main approach.
